the first 1/3 of the mlb season on a June Monday Night after Memorial Day and Prior to the 4th of July?

i'm baffled. i really am. it's like Nutz's College World Series Post - I think this is something the casual sports fan can get invested to if an effort is made.

that being said the Phils had the #1 pick a couple of years back named 'Mickey Montiak' or something like that who plays in the outfield and this string bean is still hitting around the Mendoza Line in Single A ball

Yeah, Moniak is not looking good. But he's only 20. He's still growing.

A's draft Oklahoma Sooners starting QB Kyler Murray. He says he's going to play football no matter what. But I've read he doesn't stack out to be an NFL caliber QB. Will he risk everything to play one year at a sport that he can't make money at?
