1. Trump invited super bowl winning Eagles to the White House.
2. When he found out most of the players weren't going to attend--he cancelled the event. The Eagles released their own response saying the players who were coming had to cancel appearances and interactions they had planned to do with charities in the area. But the most important thing is that Trump's ego isn't harmed.
3. Trump then starts spouting that staying in the locker room is just as disrespectful as kneeling during the anthem. So...
3. a. Demonstrating this was never about kneeling at all, but about the fact that nothing a black person does in protest--even being unseen and unheard--is unacceptable.
3. b. And this is the BIG one: The Eagles had a perfect record of NOT kneeling and NOT remaining in the locker room for the anthem. They were one of only a few teams who always attended and always stood... So, WHO is Trump talking to/about?
