Applaud it for what? We all know the obvious lack of/thin storyline, but even if you look at it strengths, I don't think there is anything there either. I legitimately do not think it is a good-looking movie. He has turned into another George Lucas or Peter Jackson. He becomes obsessed or consumed by a project and stops everything else until he perfects it. I'm not just talking about Avatar either. Remember how he just made documentary after documentary of the Titanic.... After making a movie about the Titanic? didn't he make titanic as an excuse to explore the wreckage? I don't know if the session with the Titanic came before or after the movie, but that wouldn't surprise me. He's an odd guy who has gotten more odd with age. |
