Yeah, they've held on to him somehow. Not that a contract is worth the paper it's printed on these days. I guess doubling his salary must have helped. If they can hold onto the nucleus of star players they've got, and make a couple of new signings they'll do even better next season in my eyes. I'm not sure how work is going on their new stadium. I read recently they may have to play their first few home fixtures at Wembley come the new season because the workmen are a bit behind schedule.
