I knew this was going to happen back when the season started. The NBA has become a pathetic 2 team league now. I recall a time when it was Celtics VS Lakers, year after year. Was that pathetic? Well, these Warriors are now 16-6 against the Cavs, 3 series to 1. I think the lack of capable competition for LeBron in the East is pretty bad for the league, & the Rockets probably would've been capable had they been healthy & played harder defense in every single game. So I wouldn't blame GSW & CLE specifically... & no I would not hold them alongside the 80's Celtics & Lakers either. I'd need to see the Warriors defeat a different team than the same 3 times for recent rings to look historically stronger. |
