No, pretty much. I basically stick with a hair style that can't really go out of style (basically it's always one of those safe hair cuts) and have for many years now. basically I use a 1/4" cut on the back and sides and on the top I use a 3/8" trimmer (although I did have the 3/8" thing across my whole head for a while, but it's pretty much the same). I cut my hair myself with a trimmer about once a month and have for many years now (it's paid for itself many times over already) although I get someone else to touch up the neck area since that would be more difficult for me to do myself.
but I will say that before I got that hair trimmer, which I want to say I had since about the mid-2000's off the top of my head (I think I got it for $60 or so), I would get hair cuts about once every 3 months at a local place which is too long as my hair was simply too long by that point especially on the back and sides.
but since the topic says 'ever had', then I guess when I was a kid things were a bit worse. I think I had some sort of semi-mullet back when I was a kid, say late 1980's or maybe into the real early 1990's a bit. but without going too far back, say in my 20's to date(ill be 39 years old later this year), I did used to use some gel which made my hair have that wet/semi-spiked look as that was probably something around early-to-mid 2000's or so but I don't remember exactly what years I had that but I would say the early-to-mid 2000's is pretty close. but at least that was nothing that stands out in a negative way as some people have hair styles that you wonder what in the hell are they thinking.
