Because they are good comic book movies. They are what I've been saying the X-men movies should have been since the 1st one. Since we've become jaded by the comic book movies of the campy 80s and the dark 90s, people listened to Singer when he said that you can't make movies like the comics. The MCU proved that wrong. I know criticizing the X Men movies is your main schtick so I'm asking against my better judgment... But how exactly is Iron Man more comic booky than the first two X Men movies? (Or the Spiderman movies?)
