What is it that Marvel Fanboys have embraced Disney owning Marvel & releasing 3 films a year but Star Wars fanboys cant even accept 1 movie per year? Marvel:1. Respects the fans 2. Makes films that generally feel like a consistent, continuing narrative 3. Generally makes good movies that fans like. The lowest Audience Score for a Marvel movie is 71% for "The Incredible Hulk" (2008) Lucasfilm:1. Attacks the fans 2. Makes films that are anything but a consistent, continuing narrative 3. Makes movies of widely varying quality. The lowest Audience Score for a Star Wars movie is 46% for "The Last Jedi" (2017). So, it should be no surprise that the last two Marvel Studios films are the top two films of 2018, while the last Star Wars film isn't even in the top ten.
