I tried getting into this and I got into first season fine but lost interest soon after.

The first season was fantastic. I remember back in like early 2010 or so, I picked up 2 TV show pilots whose shows had been on for a few years and I decided to watch both, the one which I thought was better would be the TV show I would watch/catch up on first. The shows were Breaking Bad and True Blood. True Blood won. I haven't seen True Blood since, but I guess it just goes to show how good it must have been since the Breaking Bad pilot is awesome.

Lafayette was amazing. I recently found out that the actor Nelsan Ellis died last year at only 39.

Sad stuff. He did such a great job with that character.
