You know, I don't think I've made it all the way through it. I remember liking it, but I had to do something else, and I haven't come back to it.
Silent films, for me, are a bit like plays: you have to see them in their native environment for them to work. A filmed play doesn't work for me, and neither does watching a silent film on a TV. I have to be in a theater and have a musician in the room to enjoy a silent film.
