Finally getting some soaking rain here, it's off and on and there's a few more days of it to come they say. No flooding threats other than some minor temporary street flooding but honestly, since Harvey flooding doesn't concern me nearly as much as it did before haha. If you were fortunate enough to get through that (like we were) without getting any damage you just aren't worried about rain events anymore; on the other hand, some people legit have PTSD from being forced out of their homes in the middle of the night, having to be rescued by strangers via boat and losing everything, so now any time it rains they have panic attacks. Don't blame them one bit, it could take years to work through it and deal with it thoroughly enough to be able to move on. That was some bad shit.
