(based on real events) . It's pacing isn't perfect (compared to similar American shows) but
the stories are involving with quite a bit of action . Here's a tribute video -
Only after typing the name of the show into IMDB (to remind myself of the actress's name) did I discover that...I've only seen the first season. I thought what I saw was the end of the show, but it turns out it's had a second and third season too. Dang. It's probably been on TV here and I've missed it. Oh well, now I know.
even though she was born and lived in North London . Funny you should mention Being Human , although I haven't seen it ,
my daughter a few years backed asked for the Being Human Series as a Christmas present , which I went and got for her .
Anyway back to Lacey Turner as Molly Dawes , starting to watch it I wasn't certain she was strong enough for the role ,
but it pans out well . I can see that the Producers and Director wanted someone who would appear vulnerable in that role .
Iwan Rheon was perfect as the heroic but tragic Private Dylan Smith , which was a very heartbreaking but true revelation .
What's to like about Our Girl is the well-rounded aspect to the show . We see the resonances in their team mates , their
families and amongst the locals . The background music for the Series is a great addition too .
Captain Charlie James is seen throughout the whole Series and I believe Molly Dawes may make an appearance again in Season 4 .
Season 2 picks up pace from Season 1 and follows another British female soldier on the frontline and in serious trouble again .
What I like about the Show is it's multi-racial approach , which follows not only the Brit/Coalition Forces but looks at the
local Forces and their lives as well .
