He was definitely a sick man. It's hard to believe the Praetorian Guard put up with him for as long as they did.
Yeah, 3 years is really, really, too long to put up with such a despot!!!! No, I'm not being sarcastic. The guy killed his pregnant sister, by eating her tummy, because he was afraid her unborn child would overthrow him, just like Zeus/Jupiter had the potential of being overthrown by one of his own children!!!!
