Had pretty decent hopes for it. Totally disappointing. 4/10 might still be generous. That's a shame. The runtime is less than 90 minutes. Wouldn't surprise me if the film was edited down to remove slower, storytelling aspects to maintain more of it's action focus. While there's sci-fi elements this is really a hand to hand fighting action movie. The humour/quirkiness didn't work for me either. Not sure why Jodie Foster had to be made to look older than she is for the part. |
