World cup has the biggest audience 3.2billion. That was 2014 FIFA WC. The same country (Brazil) hosted summer olympics in 2016 and estimated audience was 3.5 billion. Also, important to note than Olympics has more diverse and dispersed viewership whereas Fifa WC has more concentrated viewership. |
