Watch any of the opening crawls of episodes 1 2 or 3. See the difference between that and TFA opening crawls? It's a subtle difference I admit though.
Remember it had all this exposition on intergalactic tax trades and what not Pretty awesome stuff. You didn't expect to see star wars have stuff like that in it.
