Love TFA, sure it follows a new hope a little too closely but it re-established star wars wonderfully with a great cast and fun adventure. Only things I did not like were the cgi squid monster and the cgi Snoke. Bringing back the practical effects was great, really enjoyed its epic feel. It was a good launching point to do something grande and interesting in episode 8... unfortunately... episode 8 totally blew it, what a ridiculous film.. killed my enthusiasm for star wars for good The CGI Snoke didn't bother me at all. well it just wasnt the cgi on that one but the design and the voice, it was all a bit of a lord of the rings reject |
