A two part movie was the right idea, this was many years and movies in the making and involved too many plot points to all be dealt with in a single movie.
This is like if the DCEU ever had anything similar to the Infinity Crisis storyline, that's probably not a one movie story.
I just find it odd that after all this build up, the planning and the secrecy that they'd let Chris Pratt say anything about a Guardians of the Galaxy 3 or even just confirm anything at all following this movie.
I figured they hadn't come out with the Phase 4 line up for this very thing.
They don't want to tell us what the title for the next Avengers movie but they're ok telling us there's sequels on the way with characters who are meant to be dead? It's just weird.
