As long as Gamora stays dead. Thats what the trade for the soul stone should mean, permanent death. If they bring her back im going to downgrade Infinity War from 8.5 to 6.5 minimum. It would take away a lot of her character arc as well as Thanos' which is the really the main plot line for IW. I hate to see her go but this is 100% true. She has the most powerful death scene in IW, to wipe that away is to undermine the character of Thanos as well as the entire story of IW. There has to be a cost, there have to be permanent stakes. I've heard theories that Nebula sacrifices herself to switch places with Gamora in A4. I might be willing to accept that, depending on how they handle it. It's still going to feel like a cop out and will ruin that scene in IW on subsequent viewings if they go that route. |
