Yeah, I just looked it up. They've brought him back a couple of times in the last 10 years (I haven't been an avid comic reader since the 90s) and both times they've killed him off within that particular storyline, as if that excuses the corny resurrection in the first place. Captain Mar-Vell didn't really matter as a character until he died. It's hard for me to think of any famous storylines which included him aside from his death in The Death of Captain Marvel. You would think that Marvel would be smart enough not to undermine one of their most poignant storylines by brining the character back... The one thing that actually made the character special was his death. Exactly. You can't punch or shoot lasers at cancer. He died a very human (ironic, I know) death that all of us can relate to. They never should have brought him back, for any amount of time.
