screenrant.com/superheroes-who-died-and-stayed-dead/Here are 15. And before you say "No they came back later," realize that they died within their specific series arc and never came back within the story. That's what I'm talking about. The MCU is essentially one long comic series, so killing a character off in this series doesn't mean they can never make a movie on them again. It just means they're dead in this particular arc. Just started reading that article. Here's a quote to do with Captain Marvel (Mar-Vell), "His solo series never caught on, despite a few revamps, though one of his greatest claims to fame is the introduction of Rick Jones (that guy who's always somebody's sidekick) within the pages of Captain Marvel." That sentence implies that Rick Jones's first appearance was in a Captain Marvel comic book. Every comic book fan knows he first appeared in The Incredible Hulk. So how factually inaccurate is the rest of this article going to be? You pointed out the least important part of the entire article. Ignore the rest of it if you want, I don't give a shit. The fact remains that I believe a few of the heroes should die and stay dead. That's a logical and effective step for the story and the characters.
