Captain Mar-Vell didn't really matter as a character until he died. It's hard for me to think of any famous storylines which included him aside from his death in The Death of Captain Marvel. You would think that Marvel would be smart enough not to undermine one of their most poignant storylines by brining the character back... The one thing that actually made the character special was his death. Hey! I collected his comics so I found him interesting outside of his death. Stuff with Warlock. Space stuff... Some of us don't always go for the most popular character. Marvel needs to bring in Namor! And Ka-Zar! Damn Netflix's Defenders! I want the one started by Strange, Hulk & Namor! Nighthawk, Valkyrie, & Son of Satan were members. If they do Blade, I want Hannibal King! Hell, how about a Warriors 3 movie! I was more interested as his background as a Kree soldier and their conflict with the Skrulls. Kree culture is endlessly fascinating to me. I hope the MCU can do justice to both. |
