Yeah, I get the Wonder Woman character. but... the Chris Pine character would age and he's back which is why I am thinking maybe there was some sort of time travel thing because he would look much older in 1984 vs the first movie which was the Nazi days, so roughly a 40 year gap.
In the comic books Wonder Woman doesn't age like normal human beings.
It is very likely that the sequel takes place in 1984 and that she simply hasn't aged much in the last 100 years.
