Yeah, I get the Wonder Woman character. but... the Chris Pine character would age and he's back which is why I am thinking maybe there was some sort of time travel thing because he would look much older in 1984 vs the first movie which was the Nazi days, so roughly a 40 year gap.

Wonder Woman takes place during World War 1, so it would actually be a 65 year gap.

I am hoping it doesn't involve time travel, but it does look like it takes place in 1984. You can tell from the costumes here.
