If the rumors are true that Wonder Woman 1984 will be a Cold War Thriller (which I think will rock) and his character is back then you'll have 2 movies about war. Also it seems he doesn't know what the context of "infinity" is here. It makes him look slightly ignorant. He is taking it as War lasting for infinity or "for all time." A good rule of thumb, if you are going to put something down, make sure you know what you are talking about. Chris may look ignorant, which he is not but it does not change the fact what he said came to pass about infinity war.
I think you missed the part when he said IW will have no plot and will just blow up cities. that was actually true. the movie is a cgi spectacle.
I have a question about that. 10 years, 19 movies, larger than life characters, how would you have adapted Infinity Gauntlet? I understand that X-men films have quite moments for the characters that push along the plot and usually they balance out well. DOFP balances the future and it's cgi spectacle with the Sentinels attacking with the period piece in the 70's. I just can't see how you can do that with 20+ characters. It's a miracle that Infinity War was even coherent and paced well. That movie could've collapsed under it's own weight but it didn't. As for the ignorant part I wasn't calling Chris Pine stupid. I meant literally ignorant. As in not having information. You can tell by the phrasing he thinks Infinity War = "we need more war for all time. " |
