That was definitely the best element of the film.

Though when he puts her on a flash drive and it's outright announced "if this gets broken, you're dead", it takes some of the tension and shock value away because you're immediately thinking "well, that's getting broken."

I actually thought it was too obvious that it would get broken that i expected them to NOT break it. Then it fell out during the fight and i thought 'really?'.
