I think it was shown theatrically most places outside of the US. I saw it in the cinema so I included it. I enjoyed it very much and even if originally made for TV, I think that it towers over most of his work (that I have seen). According to tje internet it got a theatrical run in the UK and only Cannes other than that. I agree its some of his best work I saw it on general release in Singapore and to my knowledge much of Europe and Asia, at least, saw it first in that format. I do feel it could have been a theatrical release in the States, too. Easily one of Michael Douglas' finest hours. |
