This was a terrific sequel, to a cult classic and was also a difficult act to follow. I went in with much trepidation and knowing the long running time beforehand, I was thinking that this would just be a boring, self-indulgent and ultimately hollow mess. I was proven completely wrong and was so impressed, I went back to see it 2 weeks later. This film was made with pain-staking detail, skill, intelligence and respect, even if there are a few holes in it. Nothing is perfect though, but this one comes pretty darn close.
