I still highly enjoy it and think it's easily the best of the post-T2 sequels. Yeah, it's goofy as hell, but what were you expecting from an unnecessary sequel? I also respect it for being more self-aware and the TX is awesome. Interesting, I can respect this opinion. I still think the movie sucks, but at least it acknowledges that it isn't taking itself 100% seriously. Salvation and Gynysys or whatever actually thought they were clever takes on the Terminator franchise, which only made them that much worse. I can appreciate Salvation and Genisys for being different, but then again, I don't get what they were going for with the dark angles they took, especially Salvation. |
