Does anybody like the movie? I haven't watched it since I saw it in the theater and I remember not loving it and thinking I'd rather watch the original episodes. We were having a discussion in the food forum about peanut butter and somebody mentioned the combination of a peanut butter and pickle sandwich and it made me think of this movie. I could've sworn in the movie the kid ate a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Am I right about that? that's like the only thing I remember about the movie IMPO - I actually really like this movie and bought it a long time ago on DVD   ( a few of my big time favorite actors are in this one too !  ) . Of course it won't hold a candle to the original 1959 series but I usually don't compare these two that way either because these are both in a different class all by itself as well   . As for the peanut butter it was actually on hamburgers because Anthony said it tastes better that way - YUCK !  Thanks so much Jay for your subject post  . hmmm....Maybe I should give the movie another look. I actually did tivo it years ago and saved it to a dvd so I actually have the movie. But I just kept thinking, I will watch it after I watch the whole series when I purchase the dvd's. (I've been saying it for years) but I'll get around to it! So it was peanut butter on a hamburger?   I take back what I said about him not being as evil in the movie. What kind of subhuman monster would put peanut butter on a hamburger??!!!   |
