I was going through all of my favorite films ever made (That I have seen) and I realized "Groundhog Day" has moved up quite a bit since I first saw it.
It has that rare quality that you're lucky to capture in a film. A balancing act between 'Comedy' 'Romance' 'Drama' 'Existential Philosophy' 'Meaning of Life' 'Action' and well acted, scripted, directed, etc...
It's about as perfect as a film can get, firing on all cylinders. I personally believe it's the perfect Bill Murray picture. It has hints of 80s Bill Murray Comedy, and it's transitioning into 90s/00's Existential Bill Murray.
I now have it listed #3 All Time in my top 5 as of Today. I just revised it.
