You must have said it at the wrong time. If you’d said it following a Patriots loss I’m sure everyone would have concurred with you. Boston fans in particular seem constantly ready to turn on the team at the drop of a hat, no matter how successful they’ve been. I remember this past season when the Pats lost to Carolina and the sky was basically falling in New England over the “worst defense of the Belichick era.” I mean, as the Super Bowl showed, that was probably right but... whatever, they still made it back to the freaking Super Bowl.
