7.5/10 It was a sequel that improves upon the first film. Paul Rudd is effortless charming and Evangeline Lilly was kickass as the Wasp. Michael Pena again steals the show with his comedic charisma. Michelle Pfeiffer was underutilized. The storyline was pretty low-key and the stakes weren't too high. However, Walton Goggin's character and his subplot pretty much had no effect on the overall story. Not to mention, with the main characters being fugitive trying to do the right thing really gives the film some gravitas and weight. It was also refreshing to see a divorced couple not to be portrayed as being bitter, but loving and supportive. The visual effects and the use of motion capture to de-age Pfeiffer and Michael Douglas again was very convincing and inventive. I thought the first de-age on Douglas looked bad. I was seriously worried for a bit. Pfeiffer was there, but where was Douglas? And the very last bit? Really knocked the snap home. The tv with the off air signal & the ant there alone? They have to totally undo the snap. How many people were taken out? How many kids? How many parents? Janet spent all that time trapped in the quantum realm. Helps Ghost first thing, & she deserves non-existentence? Cassie better have survived. She is adorable No. Just no.
