I think the only way they can have Comet is if they go with the 90s version of the character from the Linda Danvers series (as seen below) but I am left wondering now with Mon-El out of the picture if they will go with Braniac 5 as Kara's love interest since he was a love interest of hers for a while in the comic books and probably her second longest relationship behind Nightwing.

I was wondering about that too, but I just can't picture any chemistry between Melissa and the actor they brought in for Brainy.
