Still haven't seen the animated series but I have nothing but good things about it.
Yes. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint this time especially with talk of Image Comics planning on launching their own shared movie universe with Witchblade, The Darkness, Savage Dragon, The Wicked + The Divine’, Darkchylde, Invincible, Paper Girls if the movie makes 100 million at the box office. There is a heck of a lot of Image Comics titles I would love to see on the big screen and one of the great things about Image Comics is the diversity of their genres which could get a lot of fans outside of the regular superhero audience going to see them. The original plan for 'Spawn' before was for it to have multiple movies like 'The Crow' but the failure of the first one stopped it from happening.
