I was flabbergasted when Jurassic World introduced the idea that children were becoming bored of seeing Dinosaurs and thus the scientists were pushed into making a hybrid dinosaur.
I agree--it is a lame reason--also that kind of DNA messing around gives too much of ethical creepy factor.
Would have been better to say it was a genetic accident or a dinosaur species they didnt know existed.
