Yes it was feminist propaganda. Fieg proudly states he’s a feminist.
People saying “if Gb 2016 is propaganda then so is the original” are ridiculous.
The original had zero political message. None. It was just a movie about guys fighting ghosts.
The new one specifically picked 4 women to make a feminist point. They specifically made the male receptionist incredibly dumb cheesecake. Janeane wasn’t dumb and she wasn’t cheesecake in the original.
The new one was “girl power” propaganda, thus the ridiculous section scenes, making makes in the film look bad etc.
The girls forgot to be funny though, so it bombed.
