I was originally against Mussina but I've since come around to be on his pro-HOF side. The guy had a remarkable career.

What's funny about Blyleven is that he had a truly brilliant career but what really got him in is the sabermetric analysis. He bitched and bitched for years, quite publicly, about his exclusion and then the stat nerds got him in. But if you listen to him in broadcasts, he bitches about sabermetrics ever chance he gets. Hey Bert, don't bite the hands that feeds you!

I'm with you on Scherzer. You don't even need saber stats to see how awesome he is.
