The other thing with Pacific Rim is really that the movie is fine by itself as a standalone film. Uprising felt obligatory. Phoned in if you will. The money spent on this could have been used elsewhere.
Exactly. I don’t feel Pacific Rim needed a sequel. If uprising had been it’s own thing and maybe it was inspired by Pacific Rim it might have been ok,but no it had to be a Pacific Rim movie.
