Yeah, I kinda agree. I feel like all of Johnson's films have become stale too. They all have the same predictable story arc - the brooding tough guy who reveals himself to have a heart of gold - and Johnson just plays a variation of his Rock persona.
Compare this to someone like Dave Bautista, who plays actual characters in his films, and Johnson really needs to change his creative teams. He should take a break from making so many movies and work on getting better directors and writers who can do something different with his screen persona.
