The obvious choice for captain for me would be Lallana. He's experienced, he was a captain at Southampton, and is one of the few who can say they've performed well for England over the last year or more.
I don't like the idea of Kane being captain with the extra responsibility and pressure it puts on him, speaking as a Spurs fan. I can see why he'd be touted though. There aren't many England players you can say are and will be first choice in the team over a long period.
