The ‘Spider-Man 1-3’ games were amazing and truly unique at the time and I lost count of how many times I played them on my Gamecube and Playstaton 2 and I had some older ‘Spider-Man ‘2D games and ‘Spider-Man(2000)’ which used the same game engine as ‘Tony Hawk's Pro Skater’ but when the first game based on the ‘Spider-Man’ movie came out here I don’t remember having played anything quite like it before and you could swing through the city and crawl on the side of buildings in the first level and I had fun doing that (
) and then the second game came out and the city was huge at the time and you could walk on the ground too. The ‘Spider-Man 2’ game was my favourite and most of my friends who like video games loved playing that one and it took me a long time to defeat the part at the Statue of Liberty where Mysterio makes it look like there was an alien invasion ‘cause I couldn’t work out what I had to do.
I finished it though and the hardest part for me in the game was the part where you had to go to the movie theatre ‘cause they only gave you a limited amount of time to get there and I gave up playing it for a while and played other games ‘cause I was not fast enough and it was annoying me but then I went back to it a few months later and did it and ended up beating the game. ‘Spider-Man 3’ wasn’t as popular as the other two games much like the movie but I liked it and there were some parts that I got stuck in like where you had to chase Black Cat on the rooftops but I finished that game too and the only one I didn’t finish and am still trying to finish is ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2.’ The first game I think was the best Spider-Man game since ‘Spider-Man 2’ and I was disappointed they didn’t keep it going and make a third one but I suppose they couldn’t after the movie flopped.
I loved ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds’ and I played that game multiple times and I enjoyed the hospital, school levels, Downtown Sunnydale and mall levels the most and the graphics were not as good as some other games but that didn’t bother me at the time especially since I got it when the game first came out in 2003 on Gamecube. I bought it again later on X Box so I could play it on my X-Box 360 with the backwards compatibility and I was actually playing it again a few months ago and I was up to the hospital level and I will have to go back to it sometime to finish it again ‘cause the last time I played it again before that I couldn’t finish the final level. The only problem I have with ‘Chaos Bleeds’ is some of the lines get repetitive ‘cause the characters say them multiple times in levels but other than that I still love it.
I would actually love a new ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ video game with the modern graphics and the size of open world games they can make today and since Sarah Michelle Gellar has said she won’t be playing Buffy again in live action ‘cause she thinks she is too old I think the idea of getting the cast to come back for a video game like ‘Ghostbusters’ (2009) did would be awesome and I am surprised we never got an ‘Angel’ video game. The Arkham video games will always be some of my favourite video games and I still play ‘Arkham Asylum’, ‘Arkham City’, ‘Arkham Origins’ and ‘Arkham Knight’ and play them in order starting from ‘Origins’ and I have been playing that game again between other games since it was added to the Backwards Compatibility list for X Box One and still think they should make one more 'Arkham' game.
