So i have watched 5 episodes of the show. And its good but personally i don`t really feel like i am watching Batman its more like watching a man acting like he is Batman but he not Batman he is just a man in a batman costume. I am sure people will disagree with me but that is my personal opinion. Overall i based on those 5 episodes i would give the show a 7\10. But one thing i don`t like is those stupid one liners from Robin. And i agree with the above poster that its pretty stupid and corny but still its entertaining enough to make me want to keep watching it. Well, depends on what you mean by “Batman.” If y’go in expecting a dark, dramatic Batman, then no, West’s character is nothing like Bale’s or even like Keaton’s (though the Burton/Keaton movies and the West show have many other elements in common, especially plotting). As there’s not really a Platonic Batman, I suppose I don’t really understand the criticism—maybe you can explain some more? The whole show is silly and goofy and corny, including the one-liners, and that’s the point. But the show is also brilliantly plotted, colorful, surrealist, and joyfully entertaining. Just plain old-fashioned fun. |
