Loved the episodes with the 'one-off' villains, especially: Roddy McDowall's Bookworm, Liberace's Chandel/Harry, David Wayne's Mad Hatter (okay, he did two, but should have done a few more). Of the rep company villains, Frank Gorshin's Riddler was the bomb; Gorshin actually played it for real evil, and was the only one of the lot who gave you the impression he might actually be capable of killing the Duo. The wonderfully innovative use of color was a real plus, making the show a treat for the eyes even now. It's just a shame that Batman was such a specific product of a specific time that there would be no chance of doing anything like it nowadays.
