the fact that having to pick a captain actually made us a worse team shows the lack of point in it.
yes a great leader in a great position - fine. have a captain. but i thhink stan is right in honest - if no one fits that critirea than give it to the goalie
If Ali keeps up his performance levels and his increasing maturity levels then I think he is the shoe in captain that could actually make a difference - however Only if the players around him believe in him - if they think he is a joker - he isnt right and again just give it to the keeper for no reason other than its something we have to do...
