I have mentioned it in past hat what problem you described also annoys me and is one feature of the game that I dislike. Another thing that I dislike is Hack-a-Shaq thing. But overall my enjoyment is very positive from watching NBA. Hope they can sort out the issue with intentional fouling. Stops the flow of the game. Pretty sure the NBA decreased the number of timeouts/game teams have in the last season or 2 to rectify the problem of having the last 2 minutes take a half hour to play. Yeah I think they have though it still doesn't finish as timely as Euro League games do.
One of the reasons why I have disgust for intentional fouling is that in the past I used to gamble on almost daily basis. The intentional fouls would often make me lose my under bets as the score will go over.
