The whole story is BS. Kawhi would actually forfeit free agency next summer if he sat out.

But Toronto did take a chance here. If it bits them, that's on them. Kawhi has every right to walk away next summer. If he insists he is out of there, it would be in their best interest to trade him to LA before the deadline.
