I'm mixed on it.
As 30 year old, I like it. It's like a sitcom with no filters.
However, my 60 year old mom wants to watch it, then says, "It's too vulgar for her". So I think they are missing an audience they could be reaching.
The excess is a little gratuitous tbh. It's not necessary. Middle Americans aren't always into vulgar TV.
My aunt has been madly in love with Sam Elliott since forever, but even she was shocked by his F-bombs. My mom loves "That 70s Show" because she was a teen in the 1970s. So she actually liked Ashton Kuthcher and Danny Masterson. She also, of course liked Sam Elliot. She was so excited to see the show. So yeah, I definitely think they should have re-thought that for the demographics. It's a quality show, no need for the excess.
