Been to a few matches, PSFs and local cup competitions.
Slimbridge AFC were knocked out of the Severn Sport Shield by Gloucester City, which was expected... Note the fans still went and supported the Swans in the 3rd/4th place play off against Tuffley Rovers... We won and came 3rd🙆
Seen Shire in a couple of PSFs. Positives and negatives... The real action starts tomorrow, as Shire play Avonmouth in the Evelyn Rowley Cup group stage opener... It's current champions (Shire) versus the tourney hosts (Avonmouth), and I'll be sure to live report on here for you. Kick off 2pm BST🤗
Been following all the non-league doings throughout the British Isles... Lots occurring... Billericay and Salford are making themselves well unpopular by buying the leagues, whilst clubs like Stroud Harriers, which started at the very bottom with nothing, have just folded despite having won 7 promotions in just 8 seasons.
Docs put me on yet more heart meds and back to fortnightly check ups, the old ticker is struggling on the out stroke.
Been quoted £272 for new shoes for the old jam jar.
