Why does it always feel so forced and desperate? You can almost hear the higher-ups at WB saying "please laugh at our jokes, we're like Marvel now." That’s what I was saying about Shazam. Nothing felt smooth about the humor. It felt like one of those shows that has a live audience and whenever a joke comes on the “laugh” sign lights up. The jokes aren’t even funny. If you think MCU humor is kiddie, watch the SHAZAM trailer. Now that’s kiddie. Except Shazam is meant to be for a younger audience tho so it doesn't matter really, I mean the main character is a kid in a superhero body I don't think were meant to expect edgy or mature humour from it. |
